It was a cold and snowy New Year's Eve, and people passing by were wearing their coats, glove, scarves and hats.
They were trying to reach somewhere by walking fast. Some of them were in a hurry to their homes late. Others go to entertainment venues to celebrate the New Year.
Children were running around on the street, throwing snowballs at each other. Of course, they enjoyed the snow the most.
They were laughing with laughter and joking with joy. There was another girl on the street, different from her other children. A little girl stopped in the middle of the road. He was watching the children playing. He wasn't wearing a hat on his head like the others. His head was torn and thin. The slippers on his feet were big on his feet. She was holding a box in her hand. The girl, who was trembling with the cold, noticed the car on her at the last moment.
Hey kid, step aside and you will be
crushed ...
Little Girl immediately threw herself on the
opposite sidewalk. But she slipped off her feet while she was running. After
crossing the opposite sidewalk she turned and looked. She saw at that moment a
child grabbed her slippers and ran away!

My slippers! My slippers! Hey stop!
He called after him, but the boy ran away quickly.
Desperate, he walked on his bare feet and pulled
up against a wall. He put the box in his hand on the floor. His eyes were
tearing up as he looked at the matchboxes lined up inside the wide box.
This
was a Little Match Girl; she couldn't sell a box of matches that day. If She
could sell it and earn some money, she would be able to drink at least a bowl
of hot soup with her mother who would have gone home. She shouted in her thin
voice trembling with cold and sadness.
There's a match! Does anyone want a match?
None of the passersby turned their heads. The
Little Match Girl is sitting by the helpless wall. Her fingers are frozen and
started to whine. The girl could not take this pain any longer. It had to warm
up somehow. She opened one of the boxes and pulled out a match. She was barely
holding the matchstick in her hand because her fingers were numb. His hand was
shaking and he rubbed the matchstick against the wall. The match suddenly
caught fire. A small orange light illuminated.
He was warming his fingers by passing the match
from one hand to the other. His hands were not cold anymore. She found herself
by a roaring stove. She stared at the flame coming out of the stove. She was
wearing a thick wool cardigan, fur boots on her feet and a beret on her head,
so hot that she even started to sweat, and when she said the match girl, the
match died out. With the match out, those sweet dreams are over, she.
The
girl's fingers started to freeze again. Meanwhile, the little girl turned to
the wall and shielded the match with her other hand so that the match would not
die out. While looking at the flame, the wall opposite had disappeared and
there was a large room inside that suddenly opened. Plates of dishes are lined
up on the white table. The girl stared at the plate standing on the table. On
the plate was a huge piece, fried like a pomegranate. He immediately ripped a
piece of meat and threw it in his mouth. At that moment, all her hunger was
gone.
The match girl wanted to pick out another
piece of meat. He stretches out his hand, but the match he is holding has come
to the end. The girl's hand was burned. She threw the extinguished matchstick
to the ground quickly. With his throw, he gave away the Christmas table. The
room has disappeared. And the stone wall in front of him has been redesigned.
The little girl lit another match, now
she is in a bigger dream. One summer night, the Matchstick girl was sitting
next to a tree in the field, looking at the stars. Even though it was night,
the weather was hot. The little girl couldn't take her eyes off the stars. The
sky and the stars have never seen so clear and bright before. Then a star
slipped in the sky. This is because someone else flew to eternity because of
the earth, and his grandmother actually told him that.
She saw her grandmother in front of her again and
whenever the star shifted, someone replaces her beautiful girl. While her
grandmother appeared and disappeared for a moment, the match girl called out
with excitement, my grandmother, don't stop, don't go, and don’t go, I missed
you so much. He burned another match to see his grandmother again. She forgot
that she was in the street, stiff from the cold.
The match girl immersed in the world of
dreams. She sees her grandmother every time she lights a match, as if she can
hear her voice. The little girl who lit another match. It was bright like
daytime. Her grandmother never looked so beautiful, and her loving face made
her forget all the cold, all the painful days she lived. She never wanted this
moment to end. The match girl hurriedly burned the last match left in her hand.
Her grandmother appeared again, holding her arms out in front of her, holding the hands of the Matchstick, and they began to rise together towards the sky. The little girl suddenly felt relieved. There was neither cold nor hunger for him anymore. At that moment a star slipped across the sky, she. In the morning, people crossing the street found the match girl lying by the wall with her eyes closed but with a sweet smile on her face. There were a lot of extinguished matchsticks around him. No one could know what dreams he was dreaming of in the flames of these matches.
